Holiday Mini

I am really getting excited about my upcoming World Card Making Day event. I have ordered some great new products that I can hardly wait to share with my friends. October can't get here soon enough.
I have never done Halloween cards in the past but the new sets in the IB&C and the new Holiday Mini have inspired me. Of course blog surfing and see things the other SU demos are creating gets me going too.
I finished some cards this weekend and planned to post them now but my computer is trying to die on me and I was unable to upload from my camera to the computer. Hopefully I can get it fixed soon and get them posted.
I am also counting down til Christmas. It is 107 days til Christmas! It is the most important day of the year and I have already started working on cards for family and friends as well as gifts and projects to share with my stampin' friends.
Well I guess I better get to working on the camera computer link or I'll never get any pics posted.

Stampin'Up convention

I am so jealous. So many great, creative, demos are getting ready to go to Salt Lake City for the annual Stampin' Up convention. One of these days I will get to go. I would love to meet Sherril Graff. I follow her blog and admire her work and the way she lives her life.
She offers lots of advice on building your business to adopted demos. She heads up Late Night Stampers and there are many talented and sharing demos there. Check it out!

I love the DSP used on this card. You can not see it here but I used crystal effects on the white dots for dimension and it looks great in real life.

I just joined Late Nite Stampers and am very excited. Sherrill has so many great ideas and is so inspirational. I want to grow my Stampin Up business but I don't want it to be so much work and the suggestions from LNS boot camp are actually fun. I have added a button so you can check it out if you are interested.

I have come in contact with some of the most amazing people online who are not only creative but also willing to share. I am learning a lot and enjoying my crafting more because of it.

I have copied some cards to show you what great talents are out there. I regret that I have misplaced the identifier for each card. I will look for them and post them when I find them.

Summer Mini

I am really excited about some of the new stamps and products in the summer mini. Some I have already received and worked with and some more that I just ordered. Of course I couldn't wait to get them so I did the "air" shipping so I can get them into my hands sooner.

One of my absolute favorites is Elements of Style. I will be posting some pics for you to see. I also can not wait to do some cards and projects with the new Stampin' Around Builder Wheel Spindle and Spacers. I couldn't decide which ones to get so I got them all!

I also needed more stamps for graduation cards so I had to get Go, Graduate. I posted above, a picture of a card that I CASE'd from Jackie Topia. I did it in colors for my granddaughter's school. Jackie is so talented. Check out her blog: jackietopa.typepad.com

May 20th from 6-8 PM.
It is always fun getting together and good to be doing something for others. If you can come join us next month. Would love to have you there. We will be making some Father's Day cards as well as others.

More spring colors and cards

I love the 5th Ave. Floral set images so just had to do another card with the embossing folder and pretty spring colors. The picture does not do it justice. The final touch was spritzing the front with shimmer white paint.

This is the birthday card for my grandson, Benton, who lives in Tennessee

This is the birthday card for my grandson, Tyler, who lives in Georgia.
Well winter is still here and I can only wait and hope for Spring. So, there are more cards and projects with spring colors and themes and they so brighten my mood.
I just sent two of my grandsons their birthday cards. They both play basketball therefore their cards needed to reflect that interest. I love doing the tri-shutter cards and I saw a card on the Stampin Up demo site that had been done with football as the theme and really liked it so I CASE'd it. Hope you like the ones that I did.

I am hooked on the In Colors from Stampin Up. I used Crushed Curry in this card. I am sooooo ready for Spring and this card lifts my spirits. Hope you like it.

Sale A Bration

I have been so busy using the new stamp sets and punches from the Occassions Mini and Sale A Bration flyer that I have not had time to get anything on my blog. I will be adding more pics over the next couple of days
